Using Custom Live2D Models
There's a detailed guide for adding new models.
Since v2.1.0, models can be imported by folder. In this way, the model.json file no longer needs to have the same name as its folder, furthermore, it doesn't even have to exist, but note that models imported without model.json will only get basic features supported.
Now there are two ways to import models—by file and by folder. By file you can import models that have a model.json file, while by folder you can import any supported models.
The only drawback of folder importing is that the folder picker cannot remember last selected location, which means you have to manually navigate into project directory every time to make a selection. This behaviour is caused by CEF, the internal browser, and unable to fix until Wallpaper Engine upgrades CEF to newer version.
Regular models of Live2D 2.1 are now supported via folder importing. If a model seems to incorrectly fit its frame (visible while dragging), you can modify the parameters' values in layout in model.json file, or simply delete all those parameters in order to use default values.
Live2D Resources
Some newer models of Neptunia series can be found here. Unlike built-in old ones, these models have no hit area defined on body, so clicking on head will start a motion, and clicking on mouth will change the expression.
Some models that are already adapted for this wallpaper: Nepgear by CelloD, Norie by Beat Hazardous T.L. and Blanc by Adamu-kun, thanks for their nice work!
Troubleshooting
When encountering any unexpected behaviour on this wallpaper, you can try reloading the wallpaper by clicking the refresh button (top-right of settings panel) or re-select this wallpaper in Wallpaper Engine browser.
If problem still exists, try pressing the Reset button in Console tab of settings panel, this is useful most of the time. An additional step is to reset this wallpaper's properties in Wallpaper Engine browser, but it's usually unnecessary.
You can also post an issue report if you like, we always appreciate it. But it'll be better to provide more detailed information, here is a template:

The problem, and how you got it

Error messages if existing (Check if there are any red texts from logs in Console tab of settings panel)

Hardware and software environment, such as the monitor (resolution? refresh rate? multiple monitors?)
